Christmas at TBBT: Because Everyone Deserves to Celebrate!
Volunteers and members in front of one of our famous vans.
Business as usual, just with a bit more tinsel
At The Bread and Butter Thing, Christmas doesn’t mean slowing down, it’s business as usual, just with a bit more tinsel!
Our vans keep moving, our teams keep packing, and our volunteers keep welcoming people at hubs up and down the country. Because while the year might be drawing to a close, our commitment to making life a little easier for our members doesn’t take a break.
Creating moments that matter for our members
Christmas means different things to different people, but for our members it’s often about creating moments that matter. After a year of working hard, juggling everything and keeping their heads above water, everyone deserves the chance to pause, share good food and celebrate. We know that December can bring extra pressures, but it’s also a time for connection, kindness and community, and we want our members to have every opportunity to enjoy it both at our hubs and at home.
Thank you for helping make good food, connection and celebration possible
None of what we do would be possible without the people who stand with us. Our suppliers who make sure good food reaches the tables where it’s needed most. Our volunteers who bring energy, care and warmth to every hub. And our teams across the country who work tirelessly to make sure the right food gets to the right place, every single week.
So as the year comes to an end, thank you. For every early morning, every mile driven, and every bit of effort that’s gone in. Together, we’ve made sure that thousands of families can enjoy Christmas with a bit more breathing space and a lot more cheer.
From all of us at The Bread and Butter Thing, thank you for helping make good food, connection and celebration possible this Christmas.
